Our Top 10 Valentine Bridal Shower Ideas...
Time to pull out your ribbons and lace - a Valentine Bridal Shower is about to be created!
Even if the shower isn't held around Valentine's Day, it would still make a perfect theme. Valentine's Day is all about hearts, love, and frilly things, just like a bridal shower.
Here's a bit of Valentine party inspiration including our "Top 10 Ways To Pull It Off"...
#1) Start by selecting a heart or Valentine themed invitation to let the guests know the theme of the shower. No need to buy the invites - grab your paper and glue and make your own Valentine invitations, it will bring out the kid in you!
#2) Pinks and reds are the choice for colors, of course. Dress the table in one or both colors, add pink and red ribbons to candle holders, vases, napkins and anything else that needs a Valentine touch.
#3) What's a Valentine bridal shower without hearts?! Use hearts everywhere - cut them out of paper to use as coasters, make a heart garland like the one above, get a heart paper punch and make some heart confetti!
#4) Candles will bring a romantic feel to the party so make sure you use MANY and don't forget to light them (Done this before and kicked myself at the end of the shower when I looked at my unlit candles.) A super cute and affordable way to jazz them up a bit - place sprinkles in the bottom of a clear votive holder and place the votive on top - (Check out the picture above - love it!)
#5) For centerpieces, place red or pink roses in a vase - add some ribbon and lace for extra romance! On a budget? - Go with tulips instead.
#6) Once again hearts! Scatter candy hearts around on tables, package them up and give as favors, or top the cupcakes with the sweet, little hearts. The conversation hearts that are everywhere around Valentine's Day would be a great choice too.
#7) SUPER CUTE FAVOR ALERT! Make these stamped soaps and give them as favors! Who came up with this creative idea - oh, Martha Stewart of course! Get all The DIY details here!
#8) Make all the food heart shaped. Cut sandwiches, fruit, biscuits, cheese, etc. into hearts using a heart shaped cookie cutter. Choose foods that are pink and red in color - fruit skewers with strawberries, watermelon, and raspberries - tomato sandwiches and biscuits with strawberry jam are some great options.
#9) For a Valentine bridal shower, Red Velvet Cupcakes would be an excellent choice for dessert. They scream LOVE and are extremely delicious!
Hope you are now seriously inspired to start creating a Valentine themed party! Love is in the air....
