Round-the-Clock Bridal Shower Cake

This is a hot milk cake (made with an old family recipe, a light yellow cake) with butterscotch buttercream filling. The icing is vanilla buttercream and decorations are fondant, chocolate clay, and butterscotch clay. The hosts asked me to make it to match the shower invitations, which were in chartreuse, turquoise, rust, cream, and brown. All of the guests were assigned a different time of day for a gift to keep with the party theme (morning, afternoon, evening, etc.).

I used pink luster dust over red fondant to make the clock hands and used scrapbooking stamps to emboss the patterns into the decorations. The numbers were painted on the clock face with a cocoa paint. Thanks for looking!
