Life's a Bowl Of Cherries Cake

This is a four-tiered cake: a 8" carved bowl, and then 10", 12", and 14" rounds. The cherries are made out of marzipan, the cherry blossoms are gumpaste, and the mice are modeled out of fondant. The cake is covered in white fondant and then hand-painted and piped to look like traditional french china with blue royal icing. The photo was taken by my husband Casey, who is a wedding photographer.
