Jennifer's Bridal Shower

by Patty Gueth
(Springfield, Ohio)

I used 2 9 inch heart shaped pans.

I baked a double layered chocolate and a double layered white cake.

After cooling, I placed the cakes at an angle but touching.

I then iced them with a homemade buttercream icing tinted with a lavendar color, blending so they looked like one cake.

I then trimmed them in the lavendar icing, wrote the bride and groom's names on the cake in green and trimmed with pre-made rose buds, which I added green leaves with the same green icing.

I finished with a sprinkle of edible Wilton glitter to add a sparkle.

The bride and her guests loved it!
